Hotel Continental is situated 100 metres from the main railway station and 500 metres from the Main riverbank with its many museums. This six-floor hotel features 80 guestrooms decorated in modern green or blue tones. All include cable television with pay movies, direct-dial phones and wireless Internet (surcharge). Bathrooms feature marbled black floors and include baths, showers, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries.
After a buffet breakfast, guests can relax in the hot tub or ask staff for advice on sightseeing in and around Frankfurt. A conference room is available for meetings and functions for up to 14 people, and guests can use wireless Internet access for a surcharge. Other practical amenities include a safe-deposit box at the 24-hour front desk, and laundry and dry cleaning facilities. The hotel is less than three kilometres from the city centre where guests will find a fairground and large park. The botanical gardens and zoo are less than four kilometres away. Frankfurt Airport is 12 kilometres from the hotel, around 15 minutes by car.

Frankfurt Airport has two passenger railway facilities: The Regional Train Station from where trains depart every 15 minutes for the Hauptbahnhof (main train station), 100 metres from the hotel, and the Fernbahnhof long-distance train station. Taxis are readily available outside both terminals and fares cost around 25 EUR. Regular buses stop at the bus station in front of the Terminal 1 Arrivals hall on level 1 and at the bus bay in front of the Arrivals/Departures halls on level 2, Terminal 2. The public transport system is excellent and integrates the city's bus, tram, S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines. Hourly or daily tickets are available at almost any stop. Cycling is a good way of getting around as most streets have cycle lanes.
 Driving directions: From the airport, take the highway in the direction of Frankfurt and head for Messe (fairground). Drive towards the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and the hotel is the corner building to the south, 100 metres away.
